Harvard Medical park celebrates fifty years

Fifty years ago, a group of local physicians and dentists set out to create something special...a medical park offering quality health care, patient convenience, and state-of-the-art technology in a peaceful location between tree-covered hills.

Now, it is 2016 and Harvard Medical Park is celebrating with a reunion!

If you were a health care or dental provider, or worked in an office at Harvard Medical Park in the past - or if you work there today - you are invited to join the fun Friday, July 22, from 1 to 3 pm, under a shade tent in the parking lot.

"This reunion is a time for people who have been part of HMP over the years to get together and celebrate working together, serving the community, and providing great care for patients of all ages," said Harvard Medical Park General Manager Knut Torvik.

Come and share our 50th anniversary cake, see old friends, and meet some new ones. Enjoy live music, listen to a few words from past and current leaders, and take some time to reminisce about where we have been and where we are today.

We also invite you to bring photos or your own written stories of how Harvard Medical Park has been a part of your life. We'll add them to a scrapbook we will share on Facebook.

Harvard Medical Park would like to recognize the vision of our founders Dr. Francis Sult and Dr. Betty Sult, Dr. James Harris, Dr. Dan Hafferty, and Dr. Richard McDonald for laying the foundation for our current success and our future.

Generations of Douglas County residents have come through our doors and we are grateful for the privilege of serving the community with physician led, patient focused care.

Many great people have also worked at Harvard Medical Park over the years and we cannot wait to see old friends again. Because celebrating milestones is important and 50 years of caring for our community is no small thing!
